Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Alamosa City Council will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 425 Fourth Street, Alamosa, CO for the following purpose: 

A.      Consideration of Medical Marijuana Ordinances

 

 

Said meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 425 Fourth Street, Alamosa, CO.

·         First Reading - Ordinance No. 8, 2010, An Ordinance Establishing a New Article X of Chapter 10 of the Licenses and Business Regulations of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Alamosa, Colorado, for the Purpose of Regulating Medical Marijuana Facilities

·         First Reading – Ordinance No. 9, 2010, An Ordinance Extending the Current Temporary Moratorium on the Submission, Acceptance, Processing, and Approval of any Application for a City of Alamosa Sales Tax Permit or License, or For Any Use of Property Within the City of Alamosa Related to The Operation of a Business That Sells Medical Marijuana Pursuant to the Authority Granted by Article 18, Section 14 of the Colorado Constitution
