Artificial Decorating:

Artificial decorations are allowed only during these designed times:
From October 15th through the week following Easter Sunday
One week before Memorial Day and for two weeks following Memorial Day
At all other times, the ground’s personnel will remove artificial decorations. Under no circumstances may glass flower containers be placed on the grounds. Glass containers pose an extreme danger to operators and equipment.
Information on cost of burial spaces, and opening and closing of graves may be picked up at the Cemetery Office. Burial space and opening/closing charges must be paid in full, before the grave is open. Plot sizes may be obtained from the Cemetery Office. Complete rules and regulations may be obtained from the Cemetery Office.

The Forestry Division is responsible for the pruning, spraying, removal and planting of all trees, bushes and shrubs in the public right-of-ways. It is illegal for anyone other than appointed persons to prune, spray and remove these trees.
Their intention is to inform homeowners prior to working on trees in front of their homes. If you have any questions or if you notice a potential hazard concerning the City trees, please contact us at 589-2105. The City’s Forestry Crew can not and will not work on any private trees. If you are having any problems with your private trees it is recommended that you get in touch with a commercial tree trimmer.
