Attention Adults and Youth We strongly recommend (and require in some programs) coaches to give each and every participant a chance to play. If a participant does not regularly attend practices (requirement numbers set by coaches), it is at the coach’s discretion whether or not the participant will play or how much he/she will play. Tardiness, behavior, etc. may decide playing time. Coaches are not “baby-sitters”; their job is to teach participants skills and rules. Inappropriate behavior detracts from this process. Adults will act like adults. Coaches, officials, participants and spectators will, at all times, display good sportsmanship or they will be asked to leave the premises or even the program. Remember, recreation programs are designed to be fun!! |
