Parks Information

The Parks & Recreation Administration Office is located at 2222 Old Sanford Road. Office hours are from 6:00am-8:00pm, M-F, 9:00am-5:00pm, S, closed Sundays. The Office phone number is 589-2105. If you have any questions regarding anything to do with Parks, Recreation or the Cemetery you can direct your questions to this number.

The Parks Division is responsible for all City owned parks, pathways, and bikeways, which totals almost 170 acres. These responsibilities include mowing, fertilizing, maintenance and repair of sprinkler systems and playground equipment, trash pickup, planting and maintaining all of the City’s gardens. The Parks Division also does construction of new parks and greenbelts. During the winter months, crews remove snow from all City pathways and bridges.
