Reserving Facilities Park facilities are on a first-come-first-serve basis unless a Park Permit is obtained. Park permits and athletic facilities are available at the Parks & Recreation Office. Reservations should be made for any size groups of people. There may be a fee to reserve a facility, and there is a $15fee for locating sprinklers (if a canopy or tent requiring stakes is to be used), $10 fee for use of electricity, etc. A damage deposit of $100 will be required on all large events (i.e. weddings, reunions, church gathering, etc.) The permit stating the facility needed, date, group size, event, contact person and phone number must be submitted to the Parks & Recreation Office no later than 48 hours prior to the event. The permit must go to the Director for approval. If the permit is approved the group must have it in-hand at the event. Approval is subject to construction, park repairs, etc., and is at the discretion of the Director. No vehicles will be allowed outside of parking area in parks without Parks & Recreation staff permission. |
