Special Events

Any group or individual that would like an event to take place in a City Park or on City Property, must complete a Special Events Park Permit Package. You can obtain this package at the Parks & Recreation Office and the City Clerks Office. The Permit Package Includes the following (if applicable): Sales Tax License, Trash Collection, Security Permit, Liquor Liability Insurance, Booth Permit and Workman’s Compensation. The permit must be completed a full 60 days prior to the event and returned to the Parks & Recreation Office and the City Clerk’s Office. The park permit will go to the Recreation Advisory Board for approval. If approved, the group or individual then must go see the City Clerk in order to be scheduled on the Agenda for a City Council meeting 45 days prior to the event.
