It is my honor to serve as the Chief of Police of the Alamosa Police Department. Our department consists of 28 full‐time employees who are all dedicated to protecting and serving the citizens and visitors of our community. As law enforcement officers we are often the first responders to the problems, situations, and circumstances that occur in our community. It is our role (and goal) to effectively restore order, solve problems and create a safe environment for all.
Like all human beings we are not perfect, nor do we profess to be. However, we are
committed to a community policing philosophy and customer service approach that
involves and values the opinions and perspectives of all citizens and stakeholders. We
strive to do the right things for the right reasons and to continuously improve our
services and our community. I personally welcome your ideas, thoughts, and input on
how we can better meet your needs.
